These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Sadi Mandi ("Platform", "we", "us") under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and all applicable Indian laws. By accessing or using this Platform, you unconditionally accept these Terms.
1. Nature of the Platform
1.1 Sadi Mandi is a free online classified listing platform for agricultural goods and services in Punjab, India.
1.2 Sadi Mandi operates as an intermediary as defined under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and is protected under Section 79 of the IT Act, 2000 from liability for third-party content.
1.3 We do not participate in, facilitate, or guarantee any transaction between buyers and sellers. We are not an agent, broker, or party to any agreement between users.

2. Eligibility
2.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform.
2.2 By using this Platform you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
2.3 If you are registering on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. User Obligations
By using this Platform, you agree to:
3.1 Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information in your listings
3.2 Verify the identity of the other party before entering into any transaction
3.3 Not post listings for stolen, counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited goods
3.4 Not use the Platform for fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive purposes
3.5 Not post the same listing multiple times (spam)
3.6 Not use automated tools, bots, or scrapers on this Platform
3.7 Not attempt to circumvent or interfere with the Platform's security features
3.8 Comply with all applicable Indian laws including but not limited to the IT Act 2000, Consumer Protection Act 2019, and Indian Penal Code

4. Listings
4.1 Listings are free of charge and are automatically removed after 15 days from the date of posting.
4.2 You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your listing content.
4.3 We reserve the right to remove any listing at our sole discretion without prior notice if it violates these Terms or applicable law.
4.4 By posting a listing, you grant Sadi Mandi a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your listing content on the Platform.
4.1 Listings are free of charge and are automatically removed after 15 days from the date of posting.
4.2 You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your listing content.
4.3 We reserve the right to remove any listing at our sole discretion without prior notice if it violates these Terms or applicable law.
4.4 By posting a listing, you grant Sadi Mandi a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your listing content on the Platform.
5. Prohibited Content
The following are strictly prohibited on this Platform:
• Stolen, counterfeit, or illegally obtained goods
• Goods or services prohibited under Indian law
• Weapons, explosives, or controlled substances
• Content that is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
• Content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights
• False or misleading price information
• Content promoting illegal discrimination
Violation may result in immediate removal of content and reporting to law enforcement authorities.
The following are strictly prohibited on this Platform:

• Goods or services prohibited under Indian law

• Content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights
• False or misleading price information

6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 Sadi Mandi shall not be liable for any loss, damage, fraud, or dispute arising from transactions between users.
6.2 We do not verify the identity of users beyond OTP phone verification. We make no representation as to the quality, accuracy, or legality of any listing.
6.3 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed ₹100 (One Hundred Rupees).
6.4 We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
6.1 Sadi Mandi shall not be liable for any loss, damage, fraud, or dispute arising from transactions between users.

7. Intellectual Property
7.1 The Sadi Mandi name, logo, design, and all original content on this Platform are the intellectual property of Sadi Mandi and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999.
7.2 You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of this Platform without our express written consent.
7.3 User-generated content (listings, messages) remains the intellectual property of the respective users.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
9.2 Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual negotiation.
9.3 If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Punjab, India.
9.4 Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

These Terms of Service are compliant with the Information Technology Act, 2000; IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021; Consumer Protection Act, 2019; Indian Contract Act, 1872; Copyright Act, 1957; and Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

As required under Rule 3(2) of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, Sadi Mandi designates the following Grievance Officer:

Any user who has a complaint or grievance regarding content posted on the platform, or regarding a violation of these Terms, may contact the Grievance Officer. The Officer shall acknowledge the complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 30 days of receipt.

Send an email to contact@sadimandi.store with subject line "Data Deletion Request" including your registered phone number. We will delete your data within 30 days and confirm by reply email.
Note: Deletion of your account data will also remove your active listings from the platform.
